And do you have a strict routine/bedtime or are you flex?
With Bee I was very baby-led - and he settled on a time of about 8:30 for an 11 - 12 hour sleep
With Kara it seemed unfair to make him go to bed before his baby sister once she was past the newbie bit.
So on school nights I aim for 7/7:30 or Kara will sleep til after 8am...lil legend...
School hols/weekends I try not to make it later than 8 still so they don't get out of routine. Unless there is a special event/party

We're the same in this house. When DS was little, there were nights where he would officially go to bed at 11pm! Stupid!
The kids have a 7.30pm bed time that we generally adhere to. Sometimes it's more like 8pm/8.30pm.

Bit of wiggle room is always required with kids IMO...they ARE little humans (as much as mine sometimes seem to prove the contrary) after all
